Once Benji knows you he bonds closely and is an extremely, loving, affectionate boy. It doesn't take him long to get to know someone and when he does he absolutely adores cuddles and falls asleep in your lap. He enjoys playing with toys, especially a ball. He also likes 'find it' games and treat puzzles. He knows a sit, down and paw and hangs out in our back office where he enjoys having a snooze. He enjoys his walks but doesn't need much exercise as he has hip dysplasia, which is managed by medication and reduced exercise. He is happy, he's doing very well and it is assessed every month by the vet. Benji needs his walks to be quiet, and peaceful, and away from the hustle and bustle.
Type of home needed
Benji is looking for patient, understanding adopters, in an adult only home. He needs a home where he can feel safe and secure. He would like a quiet home and to be the only pet in the home so he can have all of the attention that he loves to himself. He would like a secure garden and potential adopters must be prepared to visit Benji a few times at the centre to build that loving bond with him. He is happy to travel in a car to get to those peaceful walks.
