Todd is a five-year-old Dutch Shepherd cross Staffy. He is intelligent and has lots of energy. He loves his toys and will carry one with him everywhere he goes. He is happy to jump in the car to go out on long walks and he does not mind other dogs walking alongside him. He enjoys a game of fetch and as he is such a bright boy, he needs to use his mind, he would love agility or trick training. Todd knows his basic training and has been doing well with his 'settle' training here at the centre. Todd loves his treats, and he likes a long-lasting chew to enjoy on a nice comfy bed. Todd enjoys a fuss and snuggles first thing in the mornings before he is busy playing ball. He is instantly friendly with new people and with those he knows he will go and meet and greet for a fuss.
Type of home needed
Todd is looking for a loving adult home where he will receive plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He is looking for adopters with experience and will need a quiet home where not too much is going on, ideally in a rural area. He will need to be the only dog in the home but would benefit from social doggy friends joining him on walks from time to time. He is looking for a home without small furries and cats, but when out and about he will pass them and ignore them when carrying a ball, the same goes with livestock. Potential adopters should be prepared to visit the rehoming centre a few times prior to adopting Todd.
