Otto enjoys going for walks and playing with his toys, his favourites are a ball and soft toys. Otto can appear a bit aloof when he first meets new people, however when he knows you, he does enjoy a bit of fuss. Otto loves his food and would enjoy training, he's a clever boy who knows a sit and has a good name response. Otto can walk nicely on his lead when he is feeling relaxed, however he is a big boy and can be strong at times! Otto can walk with other dogs, but he has a big bark, which may worry some dogs.
Type of home needed
Otto is looking for loving, adult only adopters. He would like to be the only dog in the home, but he has previously lived with cats and could perhaps live with a dog savvy cat in his new home. Otto can resource gaurd food and items of high value to him. Adopters need to be on-board with carrying on with Otto's training with guidance from our rehoming centre training team. Otto is used to his humans being around most of the time so any time left would need to be built up very gradually. Adopters with big dog and or breed experience would be beneficial. Adopters should be prepared to make several trips to the rehoming centre before taking Otto home.
