Rolo loves to play with toys, even in her kennel on her own you'll find her throwing a toy in the air. She never fails to make her handlers laugh with her bum wiggles as her tail wags so strongly when she sees them. She loves having people around and likes to lean on you for some fuss. Rolo has some ongoing problems with her back legs, but still enjoys pottering around taking in all the smells. She loves a treat and this can be agreat way to make friends as she can be rather shy initially.
Type of home needed
Rolo has shared her home with cats before and as long as they are willing to share the sofa with her she could likely do so again. She does need a home without many stairs and a private garden to staunter around in. As she isn't always sure about strangers a home where she can be kept away from the front door is ideal.
More about me
Rolo will need a number of meets before she goes home. The Training & Behaviour Team at the centre will advise on how best to introduce her to new people. If you are interested in learning more about Rolo and feel you can offer her a forever home please get in touch!
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
