To apply to rehome Baxter, please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found, at which point Baxter will be removed from the website. Baxter is a typical lurcher with a passion for lazing around on a big soft bed with an odd five minutes of high speed zoomies here and there. He also loves to play with his toys and can often be found curled up with his favourite teddy. Baxter is looking forward to snuggling up on the sofa with his forever family.

Type of home needed

Baxter is looking for a rural, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He needs a family that will be patient and understanding with him and help to build his confidence. He is comfortable with car travel, which is perfect for a family that would like to travel further afield for quieter walks.

More about me

Baxter's family would ideally be located a maximum of an hour away from the centre as they will need to be able to come and meet him a few times so that Baxter has a chance to get familiar his new humans.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from Dogs Trust Evesham in Worcestershire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
