To apply to rehome Bluebell, please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below to start your online application. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found, at which point Bluebell will be removed from the website. Beautiful Bluebell loves to play and is always on-the-go. She can be a little shy to begin with and does prefer people to give her space to make friends, but show her a squeaky ball and some tasty treats and you'll have a fabulous new pal! At the moment, Bluebell would rather enjoy lots of playtime and quiet walks rather than having lots of hands-on fuss and affection until she fully trusts her new family.

Type of home needed

Bluebell is seeking a quiet home environment as she can become worried by lots of noise and sudden movements in new places. She will be requiring an active lifestyle and would love her own garden to run around in with her favourite toys. Bluebell will need her own little safe space in the home to go to when she needs time to herself, and would like there to be minimal visitors to her home. She will be able to be left on her own for a few hours at a time, and has settled well in her previous home when provided with a comfy cozy crate. Bluebell is looking to be the only pet in her home but may be able to share her walks with doggy pals. Children in her home will need to be at least secondary school age and will need to be able to understand the emotions underlying her behaviours. Anyone looking to adopt Bluebell should be aware that she is currently on steroids for skin allergies which can be reviewed by the vets at a later date.

More about me

Bluebell's home will need to be free of cats and other small furry pets. She has a good history of travelling in the car and should be happy to hop in to explore new places. She would best suit an area where she will not have to walk near many busy roads as lots of traffic can overwhelm her somewhat. She will be best suited to a quiet rural area as lots of hustle and bustle can cause Bluebell to become worried when out and about.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
