Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

To apply to rehome Flo, please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below to start your online application. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found, at which point Flo will be removed from the website. Fabulous Flo is the best company! She arrived in our care following a previous injury in her home, and has since been relishing the luxuries that her foster family have provided her with. Flo is a loving and playful girl who is super friendly and enjoys a zoom around the garden (although this should be kept to a minimum due to her medical). She is not fussy when it comes to food; Anything on offer is gladly accepted, and Flo will try her very best 'sit' and 'down' if it means a delicious reward. Flo is a spirited girl who is very tactile and loves fuss and affection. She has made several new friends and even accompanied our team to Dog Fest earlier this year where she was a role model for every dog in every way!

Type of home needed

Flo is keen on lots of outdoor adventures, however she does need a frequent reminder that her physical activity really ought to be kept fairly minimal due to her previous injury. She would like a bit of help learning to walk with a loose lead although she has started working really hard on this and is making brilliant progress all of the time. Flo has been left to her own devices in foster for a few hours at a time with no problems. Flo will be able to live with children who are at least secondary school age, and may be able to live with a canine companion pending meets and mixes here at the Centre.

More about me

Flo has lived in foster with a securely housed, small furry pet without any issues. She travels very well in the car and has been eager to explore new places (having a ramp or something to minimise impact on her legs when jumping in and out would be a bonus). Following on from her operation, Flo is healing very well and our Vet Team are extremely pleased with her progress. She is on anti-inflammatory medication presently and may require further investigations should high levels of physical activity be offered in her forever home.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from Dogs Trust Evesham in Worcestershire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
