Applications will close when a suitable match has been found and Chelsea will be removed from the website. Chelsea is a very sweet but worried girl who is simply seeking a calm and loving forever home. Having arrived in our care following several years in a home, Chelsea found kennel life a bit too much of a challenge and was hence granted her golden ticket into a super foster home. Her foster parent has told our team that for anyone who is looking for an affectionate companion, Chelsea is guaranteed to be the perfect pooch. Over time she has began coming out of her shell and has started playing from time to time. Being so food-motivated, Chelsea is likely to do almost anything for a tasty treat!
Type of home needed
Chelsea is seeking a moderate amount of physical exercise and would best suit a calm home environment. She would like to have her own garden to explore, and will appreciate a quieter settling-in period without too many visitors in the early days. Chelsea is very happy when in the company of her favourite people, and will need her time left alone to be built gradually. She is seeking a pet-free, adult-only place to call her own.
More about me
Chelsea's home will need to be free of cats and other small furry pets as she has previously shown a heightened interest in other animals. According to her history, Chelsea travels well in the car and has been keen to jump into vehicles on site here in anticipation of brand new adventures. Having a dog sitter or walker should be no problem for Chelsea, and she has not been phased by traffic or busier areas of our Centre. Chelsea is housetrained, and appears to know her name and a nice 'sit' when she is comfortable to do so. Some amount of breed knowledge will be beneficial for Chelsea's forever family, and she would like there to be no young visitors to the home.
