I'm looking for a new home...

About Ash

2 to 5 Years

To apply to rehome Ash, please click the ' Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found at which point, Ash will be removed from the website. Ash is a real head-turner wherever he goes (and he knows it too!). This extremely handsome boy has so far had a bit of a whirlwind journey but is hoping to soon be settled into a lifelong home with some extra special humans. Ash is a bright boy who has buckets of potential to become a very loving and loyal companion if all of his quirks can be fully understood and managed in the right ways. With those who he knows and trusts the most, Ash is a very tactile and cuddly boy who would do anything for fuss and affection. Being part of Ash's life will be very rewarding for a family who are searching for a project pooch.

Type of home needed

Ash is seeking a very niche home where several things will need to be considered in order to ensure his success. He will need a quiet rural place to live where there is limited hustle and bustle around the area that could overwhelm him (including lots of dogs and people) and is asking for his very own secure garden to explore at his pace. Ash's new family will need to be willing to invest plenty of time and patience towards his ongoing training programmes in a positive reward-based manner. He is seeking an adult-only home where he will be the only pet although our team will be able to consider families who have older teenagers on a case-by-case basis. For someone who is actively seeking a project pooch, Ash is an unmissable lad.

More about me

We are looking to rehome Ash fairly near to our Centre as his new family will be required to meet him several times prior to taking him to his new home. During these visits, our Behaviour Team will be on-hand to talk Ash's family through his training programmes and ongoing support will be available throughout the adoption process and beyond. Some amount of Collie and Shepherd breed experience will be beneficial for Ash's family with regards to his mannerisms and coping strategies for his worries out and about. Ash must be rehomed to an area where he can go for very quiet walks out in the countryside- He travels well in the car and could live in a village with the opportunity to travel to very tranquille locations out in the sticks for his outdoor adventures.
