Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Our gorgeous Sam is a sensitive boy who is easily worried by new situations and unfamiliar surroundings. When with his favorite careers he adores playing with his favorite fluffy toys and shows off his goofy character. Sam will need an experienced home with access to rural walks in low populated areas near by as he is worried by car travel. He will need to meet his forever family a few times at the center before he will be ready to go home.

Type of home needed

One-year-old Sam will need a quiet home that has experience of nervous dogs. He is looking for a family with a maximum of two people that understand his needs and are willing to put in the time and patience to help him settle in. Sam must have access to his own secure garden to stretch his legs in. Sam is easily worried by other dogs, so will need wear his muzzle and be walked in low dog populated areas.

More about me

If Sam sounds like your pawfect match please get in contact to express an interest. Due to the current government guidelines we are unable to rehome to any families that are vulnerable or self-isolating and with other pets in the home. We will conduct a rehoming interview with successful applicants and home visit via video. Access to emails and video technology will be essential for this process. Please note if you rent your property, you must be able to provide written permission from your landlord to keep a dog before you visit the centre to reserve this dog.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
