Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

I'm looking for a new home...

Blink and you'll miss him! Gunner has the energy of Mo Farah, so is looking for a family that is prepared to keep up with him. He is rather intelligent, and he can't wait to train up any of his potential suiters! He LOVES his food - which is great for training - but it can sometimes mean all impulse control goes out the window, so a family prepared to work through this with him would be beneficial.

Type of home needed

Gunner is 2 years old and can with with adults only and a suitably matched dog. He is sure to keep you well entertained and can't wait to have a family to call his own. You will be required to make multiple visits to the centre to get to know Gunner. Gunner is a Patchwork dog - he has a combination of behavioural and training needs that together make a patchwork of requirements for his new home and family.

More about me

"I am currently booked to a family but I am waiting for restrictions to be lifted before I can go to my new home."

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Gunner, who is based at Loughborough. Please note this is not a reservation on this dog.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We will, of course, be doing everything to ensure the safety of our staff, and adopters when we offer this service. You can find out more about this below.
