Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing.

We kindly ask that you don’t visit, or travel to, our centres. We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you’re matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

I am currently looking for my new family. To apply to rehome me please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match.

Type of home needed

Seven year old Betty is a little dog with a big personality! Her foster carers say her favourite things to do are play with toys (balls are her favourite), have cuddles and watch tv of an evening. Don't be fooled by her size or age, Betty is very strong on the lead and will be leading an active lifestyle. She is a Jack Russell x Staffie and shows traits of both breeds! She will need you to be able to match her energy levels and support her medically for some bits that are associated with old age.

More about me

Betty has been fully housetrained in her foster home but really doesn't enjoy car travel so can be incredibly vocal in the car. She would much prefer local walks than travelling to far off adventures! She needs to live with children over the age of 14 as she is very bouncy meeting people and likes to bark a hello at you. Betty really doesn't like to make dog friends and will be vocal letting you know this, so she will need to avoid places where there are lots of them. She says she needs to live as the only pet and would LOVE a private and secure garden to play in.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
