Chase is a bouncy boy full of energy and fun! He adores his food and toys in equal measures, but those roast dinners will have to be out of his reach! Prior to coming to us, he had very little training in place but has been an eager, enthusiastic pupil so far.

Type of home needed

Chase has had a lot of upheaval in his life and is looking for a quiet, adult only home who are around all day to continue with his training and build up the time he can be left for. He will need his own secure garden to enjoy brain games and release his excess energy. He is dog social so could potentially live with another dog, but he is very rough and tumble so they must match his style. He has shown some sensitivities so will need minimal visitors, especially in the settling-in period.

More about me

Applicants will need to live within 30 minutes of the centre as Chase will require multiple meets and home visits prior to adoption which will involve a phased transition.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Darlington Rehoming Centre in County Durham.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
