Doris is a beautiful big girl, so handsome and with a very sweet nature. She is quite a strong girl and needs to brush up on her leadwork. Typical lurcher she is very keen on her food. She also is rather too interested in small furry things, so care is needed out and about.
Type of home needed
Doris will suit a home with people who are used to sight hounds and their traits. She has a lovely temperament and could live with children of 10 years or so. She may need to be the only animal in her new home, though with continued socialisation she may have walking buddies of similar sized dogs. Doris is housetrained, and can spend a little time by herself, though she will prefer not to be left for too long as she does love her human playmates. This beautiful lady with the wacky ears is already a favourite with the staff here, could she be the one for you?
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming
centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will
continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We’d like to take this
opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything
they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked and looked after. We appreciate you
thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a
donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you
can do so here...
