I'm looking for a new home...

About Beans

2 to 5 Years

Beans is an energetic 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier looking for an active home. He loves to go out exploring and sniffing around in the woods, and also enjoys burning off some energy running around our field - a typical terrier he loves to follow his nose. Beans loves getting some extra enrichment to keep his brain busy, and enjoys playing with his toys, especially chasing a ball or a game of tug. Once settled with you he loves to have a cuddle on the sofa.

Type of home needed

Beans is looking for an active adult only home where he is the only pet. A secure garden of his own is essential, along with easy access to walks where there aren't too many other dogs. Beans adopters must be committed to continue his training as advised by our behaviour team, and need to be within a 45 minute drive of the Canterbury Rehoming Centre as he will need multiple meets here as well as home visits with our behaviour team.

More about me

If Beans sounds like your perfect match please get in contact to express an interest. Please note if you rent your property you must be able to provide written permission from your landlord to keep a dog to complete the rehome process. If we receive high levels of interest you will only hear back from us if we are able to proceed with your application. We will conduct a rehoming interview with successful applicants and home visit via video. Access to emails and video technology will be essential for this process.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Canterbury Rehoming Centre in Kent.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
