Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Lottie

2 to 5 Years

To apply to rehome Freddie & Lottie, please click on the ' Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close once a suitable match is found.

Type of home needed

Lottie is a 2 year old Shih Tzu cross Chihuahua who can be shy initially but once she knows you she does enjoy a cuddle. She came in with her best friend Freddie and are looking to be rehomed together. She is sociable with other dogs but does prefer small and quiet dogs. She loves a tasty treat and this is a good way of becoming friends with Lottie. She may require potential adopters to make multiple visits to build a bond with her. She will also need further training with her recall.

More about me

Lottie and Freddie have previously lived with a cat and could potentially live with another cat in their new home. Due to Lottie's worried nature they are looking for an adult only home. They are looking for a home with owners who are around for most of the day and may need reminding with toilet training. Lottie and Freddie are a delightful duo who will make wonderful additions.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
