Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Barney

5 to 7 Years

Barney's potential adopters will need to have multiple meets at the Centre with the training team to help understand his needs in the new home. This will also help building trust with the new adopters!

Type of home needed

Barney is a beautiful little guy who loves his walks and has big energy levels for such a small boy. Barney is looking for an understanding, adult only home with no visiting children, a quiet home with 2 adults would be ideal as Barney struggles with busy households. Barney can be selective with dogs but can socialise when introduced properly, he would be best suited as the only pet in his new home.

More about me

Barney will benefit from quiet walking areas to decompress. It is important that Barney's potential adopters are able to travel to the Ballymena Rehoming Centre quite regularly, he has shown some challenging behaviours within his previous home, this will all be discussed with the training team if successful.Applications will close for Barney once 30 have been recieved.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Ballymena Rehoming Centre in Northern Ireland.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
