Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Sweetpea

1 to 2 Years

Sweetpea is like her name suggests, a sweetie! She enjoys meeting other dogs and playing, with a real goofy side. She is a really fun and loving girl, who will bring so much joy to her new familys life!

Type of home needed

Sweetpea is looking for a home with owners who understand she hasn't had the best start. She is able to live with children aged 14 and over, who understand how to interact with sometimes nervous dogs. She will need her own secure and private garden, and is not suitable for open plan living. She can potentially live with another well matched dog. Her forever home will ideally be away from main roads and have low visitor numbers. Sweetpea will need a home where she has her own 'safe space'. She would ideally like a family who are willing to engage in a bit of training with her. New owners will need to understand that because Sweetpea hasn't had a good start, she may take a little bit of time to settle in and get used to a home environment, so she will just need a super loving and patient family who can show her how fun life can be.

More about me

Potential new owners will need a quick chat with our Vet. Sweetpea will need to be muzzled at the vets, as understandably she isn't always the biggest fan of visiting the vets.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Harefield Rehoming Centre in London.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
