Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Malibu

2 to 5 Years

This gorgeous girl is a 2-year-old Staffie X, she can be a little unsure when it comes to meeting new people for the first time but after a few meetings and some tasty treats she soon comes around and turns into an excitable loving lass! She is a huge fan of toys, but you may need to invest in some tough ones as they don't seem to last very long. Malibu is currently recovering from leg surgery, so we are looking for a foster home with a view to adopt once she has fully recovered. Her new home must be ideally within an hour's drive from the rehoming centre, although further homes may be considered if you are willing to make multiple trips to the centre for vet visits whilst on foster.

Type of home needed

Malibu will require direct access to her own secure garden. Due to her worried nature, she can live with calm, sensible children aged 14 and over. Malibu must be the only pet in the home, she can feel a little overwhelmed around lots of dogs so would prefer to be walked in low dog populated areas.

More about me

Malibu would benefit from having experienced owners as she does require ongoing training. Malibu is more worried of men so multiple visits to the rehoming centre may be required. Malibu may require medication in the future so potential owners should be aware that there will be a financial commitment required for her medical costs.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
