I'm looking for a new home...

About Cosmo

1 to 2 Years

Cosmo is a lovely and really affectionate young boy, who adores company but does find it difficult to be on his own. He can be a bit worried on first meeting with people but it doesn't take long for him to make friends. When he knows someone he is very playful and loves fuss and training. He can be a little conflicted around dogs so will need more socialisation with this. Cosmo does need his own space around resources that are important to him and can be worreid by formal handling at the vets so does need some extra help with this.

Type of home needed

Cosmo is looking for a home with no leaving hours to start with and with people willing to work on his separation issues. He will need a home with no children under 16 and no other dogs. He would not be suitable for open plan living due to needing his own space around resources. He will need his own private garden due to needing to stay on lead when in public and visitors will need to be built up gradually. Cosmo will need to be the only pet in the home.

More about me

New owners will need to be willing to work with the behaviour team on training programmes to help him settle into the home.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Harefield Rehoming Centre in London.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
