PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS WITHIN A 1 HOUR DRIVE FROM OUR CENTRE (WR11 7RT). Fabulous Jack is a super friendly chap who absolutely adores being around people and lapping-up attention! He may not have had the best start to life, but he doesn't let his past hold him back at all. Jack has a cheeky personality and really loves playing games, especially if soft toys or tennis balls are involved.
Type of home needed
Jack is seeking a moderately active home where he can be given his very own secure garden with at least 6ft fencing all the way around. He will need his family to be around for most of the time in the early days as his time left alone will have to be built up gradually over time. It will be important for Jack's settle training to be implemented in the home, and he may also require a little patience in terms of his housetraining. Meeting and greeting other dogs is one of Jack's very favourite things; He has met a huge array of canine companions here and has always greeted them in a polite and friendly way. He has been an expert at reading others' body language and is able to adapt his own behaviour based on the reactions from other dogs around him.
More about me
Jack can share his home with children of primary school age and older, and he may also be able to live with another dog. Jack's home will need to be free of cats and other small furry pets as he may have urges to chase things of this size and nature. Jack has got on very well with similar sized dogs to himself, and has preferred the calmer, more quiet canine companions here.
In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue
our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like
