Will is a stunning and characterful 3-year-old greyhound who is looking for a fun-loving home to rest his paws after his racing career. Will is a happy-go-lucky character who loves to run around followed by a fuss from his favourite people - he will not fail to put a smile on your face! He is a big foody and loves his toys. After a good run, he loves nothing more than settling down for a cuddle. Will loves walking with his doggy friends here at the centre and is a very friendly and cheeky boy!
Type of home needed
Will is not used to living in a home environment so would like patient owners that will not overwhelm him and will give him time to settle - he would need adopters to have greyhound experience. Will can be a little overwhelmed by the outside world so will need his own secure garden to run around in and have access to quiet walks. Will can struggle on his own initially so will need leaving hours built up slowly and a non-open plan house so he can start getting used to having time on his own. He must not have direct access to the front door so needs a porch or secure front garden. Will can live with children aged 16 and over. It would be preferable but not essential for Will to live with another sighthound, preferably female. He cannot live with cats or small furries.
More about me
Will is an exceptionally cheeky character who will bring so much joy to your lives and never fail to bring a smile to your face. If you think you have space for this big bouncy ball of fun, then look no further than wonderful Will! Please note that under the coronavirus restrictions we would be doing meets with Will at the centre following social distancing criteria.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
