Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Albie

I'm looking for a new home...

About Albie

Centre:
Breed:
Age:
2 to 5 Years
Sex:
Male

Likes

Albie has a truly beautiful smile that simply brightens each and every day! He is cheeky, clever and charming, and is very fond of squeaky soft toys (the promise of plenty in his new home will be appreciated very much!).

Type of home needed

Albie is seeking an adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He will need to live in a quiet rural area where there will not be too much going on to overwhelm him, and his new family will need to understand that he will be a PROJECT DOG. Albie does need to walk on lead and to wear his muzzle on walks as he does struggle in certain situations, he does not mind this at all as he has been trained to wear it. This ensures both he and others are kept safe. He isn't yet too keen on handling, and will need further training in a few areas. Experience of rescue collies will be crucial for Albie's family, as well as plenty of patience and understanding that he takes a while to build a bond and fully trust new people.

More about me

To offer Albie a home, please email [email protected] with information about your family, lifestyle, breed experience and your reasons for enquiring specifically about Albie. You MUST include a contact number, and note that we are looking to rehome ideally a maximum of 1 hour from the Centre. Successful applicants will be contacted by our team within 5 days.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works
