Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Likes

Hector is a 1 year old Border Collie, he is a really sweet boy with a sweet nature and quirky character, who needs time to get to know you and build a relationship. He loves to go out on an adventure with you, exploring and playing fetch or find it along the way! He also loves brain games and easy win enrichment games.

Type of home needed

Hector is looking for a quiet and calm home, one who can give him the time to build up his confidence at his own pace. Hector has so much potential and is a very bright boy who shows great willing to learn, especially for something tasty! he would love a home who can keep him active, he is a super star with his training! and will need to continue this in the home. He could be left for short periods during the day if it is built up as he settles in.

More about me

Hector is looking for an adult only home with no other pets. ** DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF APPLICATIONS WE HAVE HAD, WE CAN NO LONGER TAKE ANYMORE INTEREST IN HECTOR**

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
