Are you right for Lily?

Lily is a lovely dog who is looking for her forever home, where she can thrive as the only pet. She will benefit from a calm environment and minimal leaving hours initially, allowing her to settle in comfortably. Once she feels at ease, she can gradually adapt to longer periods alone, provided that time is built up at a pace that suits her. Lily would be best suited to a home without younger children, as she can be a bit uncomfortable with handling. We believe she would do well with children of primary school age who are able to follow instructions and respect her boundaries. A quieter area would be perfect for her, where she doesn't frequently have to engage with other dogs, as she can get a bit frustrated by too many canine interactions. If you think you can provide Lily with the understanding and loving home she needs, she would be a wonderful addition to your family!

Is Lily right for you?

Meet Lily, a sweet seven-year-old Collie cross. This adorable girl absolutely thrives on the love and affection of her foster carers, and there’s nothing she enjoys more than a good cuddle. Lily is an active and playful pup who loves her walks in quiet, peaceful areas. She finds joy in those tranquil moments where she can unwind without the pressures of interacting with other dogs. She can show signs of frustration around other dogs, so any potential adopters will need to provide her with ongoing training to help her learn to manage those feelings. Lily has a very friendly nature and warms up to everyone she meets, spreading joy wherever she goes. However, she does struggle with being left alone and prefers to stay close to her favourite humans.
