Are you right for Reece?

Reece can live with children over the age of 14 and possibly a cat, but no other dogs. He is house trained but not used to spending time alone and will bark if by himself.

Is Reece right for you?

Reece is a small but mighty Chihuahua with the biggest personality! He loves to find any available lap for a fuss and didn't even object to being seen by our vet. At the centre Reece has been great with people and wants to approach everyone he sees, but we know that in a previous home he was very wary of visitors and would bark and then hide behind the sofa. It's important that Reece has a safe space to retreat to in his new home, for any time that he may find himself worried. Ideally his new family will have few visitors and Reece certainly shouldn't be forced to interact with any. When we have tried to introduce Reece to other dogs we've had a mixed bag of reactions! He can be quite disinterested at times and will happily ignore them, but we know at home he would bark at any that he saw. Reece certainly doesn't want to live with another dog but he has spent the night with a cat quite happily. He's a super little boy when he feels confident and safe and his adopters must make sure to allow him time to settle into his new life. He's been through a lot of changes recently and it's only natural that he may feel displaced again at first.
