Bad weather forces Dogs Trust Shrewsbury to cancel Christmas Fair

Dogs Trust Shrewsbury are disappointed to announce that, following long spells of bad weather, they are forced to cancel their Christmas Fair.

The event was due to take place on Sunday 24th November but must be cancelled due to flooding at a temporary car park used for the fair, making it unsafe for use.

Louise Campbell, Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Shrewsbury, said:

“Unfortunately we have had to take the decision to cancel this weekend’s Christmas Fair due to concerns relating to the waterlogged car parking areas. We would like to thank everyone who was intending to come along for their support and assure them we will be arranging an alternate event in Spring 2020.”

The UK’s largest dog welfare charity recently released their brand-new Christmas TV advert featuring Corky, a puppet dog who brings to life the message behind Dogs Trust’s famous slogan ‘A dog is for life, not just for Christmas®’.
