Could it be magic for this devoted doggie duo?

Our team in Merseyside are hoping to conjure up a new forever home for a devoted doggie duo who have found themselves homeless through no fault of their own.

Magic, a Pointer, and his best friend, Lurcher Buddy, are perfect partners and totally inseparable.

Georgina Lowery, Manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said:

“We believe a dog is for life but sometimes through nobody’s fault, it just can’t be and dogs find themselves without a home.

“Magic and Buddy were handed over to us following a change in family circumstances and they have been keeping each other company. They are the best of friends and when it’s time for bed they snuggle up together which is adorable.”

At 13, Magic is a golden oldie but still has a zest for life, encouraged by his younger canine companion, six year old Buddy.  They both get on with other dogs, love being around people and whilst Buddy loves to play with his toys, Magic will take a tasty treat over a toy anytime.

Georgina comments:

“Buddy doesn’t like to be left home alone so they are looking for a forever family who will be around most of the time. They would fit really well into a family with children aged ten or over and would be a lovely addition to family life.”
