Beat Blue Monday blues with these paw-some puppies!

Monday (21 January) has been dubbed ‘Blue Monday’, the most depressing day of the year, as Christmas memories fade, the dark nights continue, miserable weather takes hold and everyone looks at their waistlines and bank balances in shock.

But, Dogs Trust Loughborough is hoping to help banish the blues with a little help from four month old Bernese Mountain brothers Marco and Ainsley.

The pups were illegally imported from Poland, travelling over a thousand miles in horrendous conditions. Having been intercepted at the border, they have been cared for at Dogs Trust Loughborough for the last few weeks and are now heading off to their new homes.

Celine Di Crocco, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Loughborough, says:

“Marco and Ainsley are absolutely beautiful and bring a smile to our faces every day of the week with their antics. We all know dogs can have a huge impact on how we feel and these two are definitely no exception

“We challenge anyone to watch them playing and not smile. Blue Monday doesn’t stand a chance against these balls of fluff and we really hope they help cheer everyone up!”
