Your support makes it paw-sible to keep families together

1 in 3 dogs are handed over because of ‘unwanted behaviour’. We're doing everything we can to help.

The impact of both the cost of living crisis, and the sky-high numbers of new dog owners who had limited access to puppy training and socialising during lockdown, mean that more and more dogs are being handed over to us. But we're here to help.

With an average of 3,000 handover requests each month, we’re committed to doing everything we can to help dog owners before behaviour becomes a bigger problem. That’s why we made behaviour advice and training affordable to even more people through our free Behaviour Support Line and our discounted Dog School.

Since launching in October 2022, we’ve helped over 2,000 dog owners struggling with their dog’s behaviour via our Behaviour Support Line. And, depending on circumstances, the discount could be up to an incredible 99% on Dog School fees that can often reach £280.

Dogs Trust addressed my concerns and made me feel there was a light at the end of the tunnel and that we need time and to do things at the dog’s pace.

At a time when so many are struggling, we believe that these support services will only continue to have a huge impact on dogs and their owners.

Donations will go towards the care of dogs wherever the need is greatest.
