Are you right for Rocky?

Rocky is a 5-year-old Lhasa Apso with a gentle and affectionate nature. He’s looking for a loving home where he can enjoy plenty of company and a steady routine. A secure garden with 3 to 4 ft fencing would be ideal, giving him space to potter, sunbathe, and explore at his own pace. He could live with children aged 8 and over who understand how to give dogs their space. Rocky would prefer to be the only pet in the home so he can enjoy his family’s full focus and companionship, and he would be best suited to a household without cats or small animals. His ideal family will have someone around for much of the day. He could be a great fit for first-time owners who are ready to continue his training and give him the stability he needs.

Is Rocky right for you?

Rocky is a loyal little companion who loves being part of family life. He greets people with a polite, happy manner and enjoys affection while keeping calm and relaxed. One of his favourite pastimes is simply watching the world go by, whether that is from a window at home or while looking out the car window on journeys. Walks are another highlight of his day, and he enjoys taking his time to sniff and explore. He is social with dogs he meets on walks and is happy to say hello to polite dogs before carrying on. At home, Rocky is housetrained and has lovely manners. He eats well, waits patiently for treats, and takes them gently, which makes him a pleasure to train. He is not particularly interested in toys but enjoys spending time in the garden and relaxing nearby with his people. Rocky also has some ongoing veterinary care which will be fully discussed with successful applicants. Rocky will thrive in a home where he feels included and secure. With time and patience, he will settle into a routine and show just how affectionate and loving he can be. Licence number: 13090 by West Lothian Council.
