Meet Lisa Herbert and Pia Offord - Dogs Trust Shoreham's Supporter Relations Officers!
Hi, we’re Lisa & Pia, the Supporter Relations Officers at Dogs Trust Shoreham!
Lisa has worked for Dogs Trust for 15 years and Pia almost 2 years however Pia in particular enjoys researching & reading about the Dogs Trust history so between them they are a fountain of knowledge!
Away from work Lisa enjoys lots of fun activities with her young family and catching up with natural history documentaries in her rare downtime.
Pia is owned by a delightful cat called Sir Benjamin, is passionate about animal welfare and sharing her love of cooking up delicious vegan recipes.
Some of you may wonder: What is a Supporter Relations Officer and what do they do?
First and foremost: We organise the centre’s biggest 2 annual events - our fabulous Fun Day & our festive Christmas Fair. As you can imagine, it's a big but equally rewarding task!
We also organise other interesting and fun events throughout the year, check our blog for the latest news.
We also offer FREE talks to community groups and organise supporter & information events with presentations and behind the scenes tours of our wonderful Shoreham rehoming centre.
In addition, we are the first point of contact for dealing with all local enquiries about the vital work Dogs Trust does, donations in memory of a loved one, our free Canine Care Card Scheme as well as legacies.
As you would expect, we are extremely excited for the future and to continue working with our amazing supporters towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction!
