COVID-19 info: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe.

Christmas Fair donations needed to help cute canines

Nicola and Maisie

Festive frolics are afoot at Dogs Trust Manchester as the team deck the halls in preparation for our annual Christmas Fair on Sunday 1 December.

With just a few weeks to go until the Manchester Rehoming Centre hosts the much-loved festive event, we are on the lookout for donations of chocolate and other sweet treats along with bottles for our treats tombola, gifts such as toiletries and trinkets for its traditional tombola and we would love for any dog-loving bakers to make a cake or two for the ever popular café.

Nicola Hardman, Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Manchester, said:

“The Christmas Fair is one of our main fundraising events of the year and it’s always a great day for everyone.

“Every penny raised makes sure we can give our dogs everything they need throughout the year, not just at Christmas, whilst they wait for their forever homes.”

At the event, which runs from 10am-4pm, visitors and their four-legged friends will be able to have their picture taken with Santa Paws, there will be gift and craft stalls as well as cake stalls, and games. Also there will be a fun, indoor mini obstacle course for dogs and their owners to test their agility skills. Entry and parking are free.

If you are able to help, please send or drop off any donations to Dogs Trust Manchester, Parkway, Denton, M34 3SG.
