Thanks to all our festive givers
I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thanks to everyone who has put a few extra presents on their Christmas list this year, for our dogs here at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe. We truly have amazing supporters and your generosity is so gratefully appreciated.
Today, Santa’s helpers (in the form of supporter Jackie Sharrock and the Westward Ho! Bingo Club) have dropped off a fantastic amount of toys and tasty treats for our canine residents. This has only been made possible by the kindness of their members – as well as a fantastic £100, which was generously donated by Griggs Close Coffee Morning in Northam.
Now we need to decide which toys to give each of our dogs, although I am sure they will be more than happy with what they get. In fact, beautiful Boy the Greyhound has already bagsied the Father Christmas doggy teddy and is currently curled up in his basket with it! (I know there are still six days to go, but Boy’s definitely on the ‘nice list’, so he deserves an early present!)
So, thank you again to all our amazing supporters for your kindness and generosity, not just at Christmastime but throughout the year. Here’s to a happy 2018 for you – and a successful and loving rehoming year for our homeless hounds.
Did you know you can leave a gift for our dogs in your Will? It is a great way to make sure your love of dogs can continue into the future. If you would like more information about legacies, please contact me, Amy Bingham, on 01271 817716 or email [email protected].
