Canine Carer adopts a golden oldie as they couldn’t bare to be apart
Golden oldie Millie found her perfect match in her Canine Carer Kaye.
13-year-old Millie was handed over to us a few weeks ago after her owner sadly was not able to care for her any longer. Canine Carer, Kaye, took her to her kennel where she settled her in before she awaited a retirement home. Although Millie is a friendly, happy girl, her old age and health problems meant that she would most likely find it a bit tricker than normal to find a forever home.
Millie instantly became a favourite among staff, as her friendly, loving nature was hard to miss! However, she made a big indent on Kaye’s heart and Kaye could not bare to be parted from her and so, the following week, Kaye’s parents, Andy and Carol, came in and it was love at first sight! They recently lost Jack, their Border Collie, but felt it was time to let another dog into their hearts and knew Millie was the one for them.
Millie is now a Thomson and making herself at home already!
