Your buddy is looking for you
Canine carers at Dogs Trust Darlington are calling on potential dog owners looking for a "Best Buddy" to share their life with as it's rehoming centre in Sadberge currently has three dogs named Buddy who are all waiting to meet their special someone.
The first Buddy is a five-year-old Lurcher who is very clever and loves showing off his tricks, especially if he gets a tasty treat as a reward. He is a well mannered, fun-loving lad who prefers human companionship and would therefore like a home with no other pets.
The second Buddy is a two-year-old Terrier cross with an excitable nature. He is looking for an active home where he will be kept both mentally and physically stimulated. He loves his food and playing with his toys; both of which will make excellent training aids to help continue with his personal development.
Dogs Trust Darlington’s final Buddy is a three-year-old crossbreed with a sensitive soul. This Buddy likes taking his time getting to know new people before becoming friends for life but a tasty treat will definitely speed up this process.
Sue Embleton, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Darlington said:
“Everyone needs a Buddy in their life and hopefully here at Dogs Trust we have one that will suit a variety of potential dog owners. Each Buddy has their own unique personality but they all have the same desire to find a loving home to call their own.
“We’d love to hear from experienced dog owners who are willing to spend time helping their Buddy adjust to being part of a family again.”
