COVID-19 info: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe.

Beautiful, bouncy Bryn turns two!

Dogs Trust Canterbury are celebrating Bryn’s second birthday in style with lots of squeaky toys – Bryn’s favourite thing in the world!

The now two-year-old lurcher is still looking for his forever home, having been with the Rehoming Centre since he was bought in as a stray when he was a little over a year old.

Bryn is a brilliant character once you get to know him – he lives for his toys and loves to play food games with his canine carers. He enjoys exploring and would be a fun addition to an active, adults-only home where he is the only dog as he doesn’t like to share his beloved toys!

Bryn loves a gentle fuss when he feels comfortable, although he much prefers to interact with toys and training rather than lots of fuss.

Dogs Trust has a Behaviour Team who can support adopters throughout his adoption and aftercare for a lifetime to help with these challenges and let the real Bryn shine.

Harriet Blaskett, centre manager at Dogs Trust Canterbury, said:

“Bryn is a lovely, bouncy dog and we wanted to mark his special day in a way he would love the most – with his toys! We’d love to find him a new family for a real birthday treat, as he’d be a wonderful furry friend to the right family.”
