Happy St. David's Day!

The 1st of March means only one thing for us Welsh… St. Davidss Day!

We celebrate Saint David the patron saint for Wales. Traditionally, people will wear daffodils or leeks. School children will wear Welsh costumes.  Also eating traditional welsh cuisine like Cawl or Welsh rarebit is called for. For us staff at the Bridgend Rehoming Centre we will feast on some Welsh cakes, and for the dogs, well they will have a good run amongst the daffodils!

For all our Welsh supporters, we wish you a Happy St Davidss Day!
