Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Shandy from Snetterton (Norfolk)

When we went to Snetterton we were after a big dog. A young dog. We came away with Shandy who was a smallish dog aged about 6 or 7. It was the best thing we ever did. That was in 2007. She passed away in April 2018 aged about 17 and broke our hearts. I just wanted to share this in case people didn't want older dogs, please don't let it put you off, she had a really happy life and was fantastic with our kids and then out grandson. We are foster parents too and she would sit with our foster son when he was upset and never left his side. She will be a hard act to follow.
