Betty from Manchester

She was rescued from being experimented on in a laboratory in Ireland and we adopted her in November 2017. She came to us terrified of the world. Didn’t know her name because she never had one, had to be toilet trained, wouldn’t go near anybody new, learnt how to walk in a lead, walking up stairs then down stairs took even longer, scarred of loud noises and walking on main roads, cars were the enemy (still are) and was frightened of the dark. Here she is now living her best life in going on adventures, eating like a queen, being spoilt by her grandmas and loves cuddling her sister Indie the cat on the bed we vowed she would never sleep on. Oops. Big shout out to The Dogs Trust for taking 170 of these beautiful souls in and giving them a life worth living
