Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Timmy from Ilfracombe (Devon)

When we first saw Timmy is was obvious how hard it was going to be to get him to trust us. He would not let us touch him, we could barely get close enough. He constantly had his tail between his legs. We brought him home and tried to be as gentle as we could but over time he came out of his shell and became the beautiful boy he is today. As I said we couldn't even get close enough to touch him but within a few weeks he was eating treats out of our hands and getting close enough for us to touch noses. He enjoys his walks more than anything (even food) and we now have enough trust he is allowed off a lead. He has two best friends (our cats) which we were very worried he would not get on with but has been officially welcomed to the family!
