Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Scamp from Basildon (Essex)

Scamp came to me shortly after losing my beloved Jack Russell and I was thrilled to adopt him in May 2015 from Basildon. He is a character, a true terrier and when he picks up a scent, he is off and comes back on his terms but aside from this, is simply my best buddy. Despite his beginnings, he is the kindest, most gentle dog and loves each day and is thriving. He is super fit, we go off for hours at a time, and he is never tired and hates the end of any walk ! It really is a testament to the good and hard work and patience that Dogs Trust put into every dog and the care that they go in their efforts in rehoming each dog, and I could not imagine not having my little chap!
