COVID-19 info: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe.

Anya from Manchester

I met Anya, back when her name was Keesha on a Friday morning at Dog's Trust Manchester. She had just been brought in and was being given a walk around the car park. I approached the carer (Katy) and asked if I could meet her. She leapt up and gave me a kiss on the chin and a big cheeky grin and I immediately fell in love. Went home, and brought my family back to meet her - and reserved her that very night! Anya a true source of happiness for me among the sea of work and everyday life that can sometimes be stifling. I come home at night and she runs to me with that same grin that she gave me the first time I met her. We go on three long walks a day, and I love taking her to an enclosed field where she can run and play with her new Husky friends!
