Are you right for Zeke?

Zeke is looking for a calm and understanding home where he can begin to blossom into his true character. This sensitive young soul would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic location, with peaceful walking routes right from the door and a suitable driveway to help him gradually gain confidence around cars. A steady, predictable routine will be key to helping Zeke settle in, along with adopters who are patient, gentle, and willing to take things at his pace. He could possibly live with quiet older teenagers who understand his need for space, and a well-matched canine companion may help boost his confidence, especially on walks—pending successful introductions at our rehoming centre. A home without cats or small animals is essential due to his prey drive, and while he may be uncertain around new people, with time and a gentle approach, he begins to relax and feel secure. Occasional visitors would be manageable as long as they're introduced slowly and respect his boundaries.

Is Zeke right for you?

Zeke is a sweet-natured, affectionate boy who forms deep bonds with those he trusts. While initially reserved, he’ll quietly seek out fuss and affection on his terms, and it's incredibly rewarding to watch him come out of his shell. He loves curling up for a nap in his bed or on the sofa, tucking into a tasty meal, and has even started to show his playful side—with the odd bout of goofy zoomies bringing out his charming, puppy-like spirit. He lights up in the presence of other dogs, displaying joyful, bouncy body language, play bows, and an irresistibly waggy tail. Zeke’s gentle nature, quiet resilience, and unique little quirks make him a truly special companion for someone with a calm lifestyle and a big heart. With time, patience, and love, we think that Zeke will make for a deeply loyal, loving best friend!
