Are you right for Jack?

Jack is looking for an active family who want a new companion to take on plenty of fun adventures. Jack is a lovely boy who can live with children aged 10 years or older, providing they understand he likes to be independent at times and will give him space when needed. Whilst Jack cannot live with cats or small furries, he can share his new home with another dog pending successful dog mixes here at the Rehoming Centre. He is a super smart lad, already learning his name and sit whilst with us, and would benefit from adopters who will engage him in more training to keeping him stimulated in the home. Jack can be left for up to 2 hours once he has settled into his new home, provided this is build up slowly with plenty of positive reinforcement. Typical of his breed, this young lad is energetic and full of beans, so he would benefit from his own private garden he can zoom around in and sniff every inch of! He can jump fairly high, so his new garden would need 6ft fences that are secure all the way around. Jack will need to meet his adopters' multiple times prior to going home, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Jack right for you?

Meet Jack, our super friendly 2 year old Patterdale Terrier who has started his search for a new family to call his own. Jack is the most beautiful and scruffy little lad who loves nothing more than sniffing around and exploring his surroundings. The only thing better than this is a tennis ball! Jack loves a tennis ball, and will ignore any other toy if one is around, and will happily play by himself or drop it for his handler to throw for him. Jack would love his new adopters to engage him in lots of fun and stimulating training to keep his brain busy, and would even enjoy additional training such as scent work if his owners were keen. Whoever takes home this little Patterdale will enjoy a life full of love and adventure.
