Are you right for Bertie?

Bertie is an absolute gem looking for an active home where he can thrive as the only pet. He has the potential to socialise with other dogs, but he will need a gentle introduction since he can be a bit fear-reactive on walks. Bertie is looking for a home in a quieter area, where he can enjoy peaceful walks without too many other dogs around. This friendly boy has a wonderful temperament and would do well in a home with children aged 10 and up. Once he settles in, Bertie is comfortable being left alone for a couple of hours, which will allow some flexibility. Bertie has a medical condition that leads to seizure-like episodes. While this is not treated with medication, it can be managed through a specific diet. If you're interested in learning more about Bertie and his condition, we're more than happy to chat! Let's find the perfect home for this lovable pup!

Is Bertie right for you?

Meet Bertie, a charming four-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is as sweet as can be! This adorable little guy has a heart full of playfulness, especially when his squeaky toys or beloved bunny toy come into the mix. Bertie loves nothing more than to curl up for a cosy cuddle with his foster carers after a fun play session. He's quite the independent spirit, happily exploring his surroundings and engaging in his adventures. However, Bertie does seek a bit of guidance and encouragement from his human companions when encountering other dogs, as they can sometimes make him feel a bit uneasy. Bertie isn't too keen on car rides, so he’ll benefit from some positive training to help him feel more comfortable in transit. Ideally, he will need a home where he doesn’t need to travel too often. If you're looking for a playful and affectionate companion who also needs a little extra love and training, Bertie might be the perfect dog for you!
