Are you right for Breeze?

Beautiful Breeze is a 3 year old Husky who is on the lookout for his furever home and would benefit from people that have had some experience with the breed. Breeze struggles to be separate from people so is looking for adopters that can be around for the majority of the time. Once he has fully settled in and built up a relationship with his adopters, this is something that may be able to be worked on so he can be left for short periods of time. Breeze is looking for an adult only home. In his new home he would need to have a fully enclosed fair sized garden as he likes to spend time outside and have regular access to the outside. Inside he would like to have enough space to move around and also lay and rest without the worry of people passing him, having his bed in a quiet area he can call his own. Breeze has an ongoing medical condition which our veterinary team can discuss in detail if you are found to be a match and support could be provided with this along with support from our behaviour team to help him settle into his new home. Breeze is also available for fostering so if you would be interested in fostering him while he continues to search for his forever home, please get in touch.

Is Breeze right for you?

Breeze is quite an independent dog, he does ask for some fuss occasionally but is quite happy entertaining himself with his toys. He would benefit from some positive regular dog socialisation, he does come across a little underconfident, but is keen to say hello, although he can be a little bouncy and vocal in play. He has shown he can be worried by close handling, especially around his harness, so Breeze is looking for adopters that are patient and happy to go slow, giving him time to build trust first. Breeze is worried by hands on veterinary checks and so wears a muzzle in these situations. Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
