Are you right for Morgan?

Meet Morgan, the 2 year old GSD! Morgan loves nothing more than spending time relaxing with his favourite humans especially if this includes having a fuss. He can live with confident teens who are used to larger breeds. Morgan would prefer a home without visiting young children and any visitors should be introduced at his pace as he can be worried of some men. Morgan could possibly live with another dog in the home – a smaller confident dog who would be tolerant of Morgan’s boisterous playstyle. If not, he would enjoy having canine friends on his walks. He cannot live with cats or small furries. Morgan has settled beautifully in foster, he is housetrained and makes a great work from home buddy. He dislikes being left alone so would benefit from a home with plenty of company. Morgan has some ongoing medical conditions which don’t affect his zest for life, these will be discussed with a new home in more detail.

Is Morgan right for you?

Laid-back Morgan is a joy to spend time with. He is interactive, affectionate and enjoys toy play. Once he has had his exercise, he settles wonderfully on his own bed. Morgan loves his walks and enjoys meeting new people and dogs on his travels. He is excited and can sometimes forget his size and strength, so would benefit from an owner committed to helping him greet more calmly and walk to a loose lead. As confident as Morgan looks, he can be sensitive in some situations such as when meeting some male visitors and when he hears a baby cry. He requires lots of verbal praise and gentle handling to reassure him but is gaining confidence every day.
