Are you right for Milo?

Milo is a loveable, affectionate 2 year old Crossbreed that always puts a smile on our faces here at the centre. He came into our care through no fault of his own and is waiting for his furever home. As Milo can sometimes lack confidence around people, he will need to be kept on lead and muzzled on his walks. He is a cheeky chap who has a passion for training and with adopters help, he'll be fully muzzled training in no time. Busy situations can be overwhelming for Milo and so he's looking for a quiet, adult only home where he can put his paws up and enjoys a cuddle. Milo loves to put his nose to work and explore and he's looking for someone to go on adventures with. He enjoys having calm doggy friends to go on walks with but would like to be the only pet in the home. Milo would like to have his own, private garden with 5ft fencing.

Is Milo right for you?

Milo would love a patient family who are happy to take things at his pace and show him the world is not such a scary place. He is a fast learner and loves training, he has already mastered “sit” “paw” and “touch” whilst being with us and would love to learn some more of the basics in his new home. Any potential adopters will need to be able to visit the centre regularly to build a bond with him before progressing to home visits. Milo’s ideal home would be in a quiet location away from busy roads and would have room for his to have his own space to take himself off to if he is finding things too much or if unknown people come to the home. Milo enjoys his walks and would love access to quieter walks where he can explore and have a good sniff – forest walks are his favourite! Milo has so much potential and is such a sweetie. He has been through so much in his young life and we just know that given the opportunity in a patient and understanding home, he will grow into a fun loving and loyal companion. Please note that you won't be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you're looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you've submitted your application, we can't change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
