Are you right for Mac?

If you’re looking for THE most affectionate and snuggly Collie around, then meet Mac. He’s 6yrs old and just adores his human friends. He’s been waiting to find his perfect match for much longer than most dogs as he’s quite shy and nervous initially and likes to take his time getting to know new friends, but he has an easy introduction plan which means you can be in his club in no time! It just takes a few visits and plenty of his favourite treat, cheese! He likes a quiet, peaceful and predictable life so sharing his home with kids or other pets won’t work. He’ll need his own secure garden as he does love having somewhere he can sniff around off-lead. Being already housetrained and happy in his own company for a few hours we expect him to really flourish in the right home.

Is Mac right for you?

Mac really is such a wonderful dog to be around. Once he has gotten to know you, he’s a very chilled and affectionate boy. He likes to spend most of his time relaxing on his bed or snuggling on the sofa with his humans. He’s a clever lad too and already knows plenty of cues, but he is very keen to learn so if you fancy teaching him some fun tricks he’ll definitely oblige! Due to him being nervous of people he doesn’t know he likes to walk in quieter areas where he won’t see too many people. He happily wears his muzzle and is not a dog who looks for trouble. He prefers to keep himself to himself. He travels well so won’t mind being driven to quieter places or for fun days out. So, if you are looking for a smart and loyal dog who will form a very special, close bond, and you have the time and patience to work with us to slowly transition him into a new home, you might the PAWfect match that Mac is waiting for, add him to your favourites now!
